José Luis "Puma" Rodríguez Bebanz (born 14 March 1997) is a Uruguayan professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Vasco da Gama and the Uruguay national team. Career Vasco da Gama On 4 January 2023, Vasco da Gama signed Rodríguez a three year contract until 31 December 2025. International career Rodríguez is a former Uruguayan youth international. On 21 October 2022, he was named in Uruguay's 55-man preliminary squad for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Later he made the 26-men cut to the World Cup squad, although he didn't make a single appearance in the competition. Canelones, Uruguay
Canelones () is the capital of the department of Canelones in Uruguay. Its name is derived from a species of cinnamon, which is called "canelón", growing along the banks of the homonymous river. Since 2010, the city is also the seat of the municipality of Canelones. Location The city is located on Route 5 about North of Montevideo and on its intersection with Route 64. It lies on the west bank of the river Arroyo Canelón Chico. History It was founded on 24 April 1783 under the name "Villa Guadalupe". It became capital of one of the nine earlier Departments of the Republic. The railroad arrived here in 1874, while in 1908 National Route 5 from Montevideo was inaugurated. Segunda División Profesional is the second division of professional football in Uruguay, established in 1942. The league is sometimes referred to as ''Primera B''. Segunda División was first held in 1942 to replace amateur Divisional Intermedia, establishing a professional league for lower divisions in Uruguay. The CONMEBOL Sudamericana, named as ''Copa Sudamericana'' (; pt, Copa Sul-Americana ), is an annual international club football competition organized by CONMEBOL since 2002. It is the second-most prestigious club competition in South American football. CONCACAF clubs were invited between 2004 and 2008. The CONMEBOL Sudamericana began in 2002, replacing the separate competitions Copa Merconorte and Copa Mercosur (that had replaced Copa CONMEBOL) by a single competition.
