José Luis García Sánchez (born 22 September 1941) is a Spanish film director, screenwriter and producer. He has directed 30 films since 1968. He wrote for the 1973 film ''Habla, mudita'', which was entered into the 23rd Berlin International Film Festival. In 1978, he directed ''Las truchas'' ("''Trouts''"), which won the Golden Bear at the 28th Berlin International Film Festival. In addition to his storytelling art, he has been responsible for producing the official reference art for characters in the ''DC Comics Style Guide'', as used in licensed merchandise. José Luis García Pérez (born 1972 in Sevilla, Spain) is an Andalusian actor in film, theatre, and television. He studied at the Centro Andaluz de Teatro (CAT). Perez portrayed the role of Pedro in the 2005 film ''Cachorro'', where he was nominated for a Goya Award for Best Newcomer. José Luis García Cobos (January 18, 1924 – October 14, 2015) was a Mexican baseball outfielder and manager. García was dubbed 'Chito', a moniker that he proudly used throughout his life. (Spanish). Since an early age he was devoted to baseball and football fields, reaching professional status in both sports. Baseball García debuted in 1953 in the Mexican League, playing at left field for the Rojos del Águila de Veracruz before joining the Diablos Rojos del Mexico from 1964 to 1965. Although his leading role in baseball was as a manager, amassing a record of 1385–1436 (.491) in a span of 20 seasons between 1963 and 1984. The fifty-first edition of the Caribbean Series (''Serie del Caribe'') was played in .
