Joshua Anderson (serial Killer)
Joshua Julius Anderson (born June 17, 1987) is an American serial killer who shot four to five people to death in northern Tulsa, Oklahoma, between late 2006 and early 2007. He was arrested on the same day as his final two murders, and confessed soon afterwards. He was sentenced to four life terms and an additional 35 years imprisonment. Early life Joshua Julius Anderson was born on June 17, 1987. Little is known about his childhood. At age 15, he was accused of shooting with intent to kill in Muskogee. However, the warrant was recalled less than a month later. In June 2005, he was charged with kidnapping, concealing stolen property, and domestic assault and battery. As part of a plea deal, he pleaded guilty to the kidnapping and assault counts, but the stolen property charge was dismissed. He was sentenced to 90 days in jail. Joseph Harp Correctional Center
Joseph Harp Correctional Center (JHCC) is an Oklahoma Department of Corrections state prison for male inmates located in Lexington, Oklahoma, Lexington, Cleveland County, Oklahoma. The medium-security facility opened in September 1978 and with a capacity of 1045 inmates is the largest medium-security prison in the state. JHCC was named for Joseph Harp. who served as warden of the Oklahoma State Reformatory from 1949 to 1969. Regarded by his colleagues as an innovative leader and professional in the field of corrections, he recognized that a high school education was one of the greatest needs that many inmates had lacked which could prevent them from gaining legal employment and often times led to a life of crime.
