Joshua Wilson (Maryland Politician)
Joshua Wilson (January 29, 1797 – February 27, 1885) was an American politician and physician from Maryland. He served as a member of the Maryland House of Delegates, representing Harford County from 1860 to 1861 and 1865 to 1867. Early life Joshua Wilson was born on January 29, 1797, in Harford County, Maryland. He graduated from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Career In 1819, Wilson made a ride on horseback with Thomas Chew, Tobias Stansbury and Benjamin Rusk to New Orleans to find a location to practice medicine. He chose to practice medicine in Harford County and would practice for 64 years. Wilson was elected as county commissioner in 1853 and 1857. Joshua Aaron Wilson (born March 26, 1981) is an American former professional baseball infielder. Wilson is a Mt. Lebanon, Pennsylvania native. He was part of the 1998 Pennsylvania state championship baseball team and Pennsylvania Player of the Year. Wilson played in Major League Baseball (MLB) for the Florida Marlins, Washington Nationals, Tampa Bay Devil Rays, Arizona Diamondbacks, San Diego Padres, Seattle Mariners, Milwaukee Brewers, Texas Rangers and Detroit Tigers. Career Florida Marlins Wilson was drafted by the Florida Marlins in third round of the 1999 Major League Baseball draft. Joshua Wilson (born March 11, 1985) is a former American football cornerback. He was drafted by the Seattle Seahawks in the second round of the 2007 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Maryland. Wilson has also played for the Baltimore Ravens, Washington Redskins, and Atlanta Falcons.
