Josh Walker (Australian Footballer)
Josh Walker (born 12 November 1992) is a former professional Australian rules footballer who has played for the Geelong Football Club, Brisbane Lions and the North Melbourne Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). AFL career Walker was recruited by in the 2011 rookie draft with pick 23. He made his debut in round 16, 2012, against at the MCG. He is the grandson of Geelong premiership player Peter Walker. A strong-marking ruck/forward who found his place in the team limited behind Tom Hawkins and James Podsiadly. Once Podsiadly left for he was selected as the second tall forward, he managed 33 games and 35 goals in four seasons. He was traded to in the 2015 trade period. James Podsiadly (born 10 September 1981) is a former professional Australian rules football player who played for the Geelong Football Club and the Adelaide Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was drafted by as a mature-age rookie at pick #50 in the 2010 rookie draft and was traded to Adelaide after the 2013 season. Early life Podsiadly grew up in the Melbourne suburb of Spotswood. Thomas John Hawkins (born 21 July 1988) is an Australian rules footballer playing for the Geelong Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL).
