Joseph Warren (June 11, 1741 – June 17, 1775), a Founding Father of the United States, was an American physician who was one of the most important figures in the Patriot movement in Boston during the early days of the American Revolution, eventually serving as President of the revolutionary Massachusetts Provincial Congress. Warren enlisted Paul Revere and William Dawes on April 18, 1775, to leave Boston and spread the alarm that the British garrison in Boston was setting out to raid the town of Concord and arrest rebel leaders John Hancock and Samuel Adams. Warren participated in the Battles of Lexington and Concord the following day, the opening engagements of the American Revolutionary War. Warren had been commissioned a major general in the colony's militia shortly before the June 17, 1775 Battle of Bunker Hill. Joseph Warren (music Editor)
Joseph Warren (1804–1881) was an English musician and composer, best known as a music editor. Life Warren was born in London on 20 March 1804. He first studied the violin, and then the piano and organ under J. Stone. At an early age he ran a society of amateurs, for whom he wrote two symphonies and other vocal and instrumental pieces. In 1843, Warren was appointed organist of St Mary's Roman Catholic Chapel in Chelsea, London. He took an active part in the revival of early English music. Late in life Warren fell into poverty, and made piecemeal sales from his library, which included some significant early English manuscripts. Finally he became paralysed, and had support from William Hayman Cummings. He died at Bexley on 8 March 1881. At one time he and Edward Francis Rimbault were close friends, but they became public enemies. Works Warren's major work was his edition of the ''Cathedral Music'' of William Boyce. Giuseppe Vari (9 March 1924 – 1 October 1993) was an Italian film director, editor and screenwriter. Life and career Born in Segni, Rome, Vari started his career as an editor of films and documentaries, collaborating among others with Federico Fellini, Damiano Damiani and Giorgio Simonelli. In 1953 he made his directorial debut with ''Infame accusa'', then specialized in melodramatic films.
