Joseph Michael Cole (born 28 November 1988) is an English actor from Kingston, London. Some of his most notable roles include: Luke in '' Skins'', Tommy in '' Offender'', John Shelby in ''Peaky Blinders'', Marzin and Beckwith in ''Secret in Their Eyes'', Reece in ''Green Room'', Billy Moore in '' A Prayer Before Dawn'', Frank in the ''Black Mirror'' episode "Hang the DJ", Sean Wallace in '' Gangs of London'' and Iver Iversen in ''Against the Ice''. Career Cole's acting career began when he was accepted into the National Youth Theatre. Joseph John Cole (born 8 November 1981) is an English football coach and former professional footballer who played as an attacking midfielder or winger in the Premier League, Ligue 1, League One and United Soccer League. He is regarded as one of the most talented players of his generation and one of the most gifted English midfielders of all time. Cole started his career with West Ham United, where, after breaking into the first team in January 1999, he played more than 120 Premier League games over five seasons. Joseph Dennis Cole (April 10, 1961 – December 19, 1991) was an American actor, writer and roadie for Black Flag and Rollins Band, who was shot and killed in an armed robbery on December 19, 1991. Early life Cole was the son of actor Dennis Cole by his first wife, Sally Bergeron. Cole also worked as a roadie for the band Hole, filming the group's 1991 tour performances, and appeared in several films including Raymond Pettibon's ''The Book of Manson'', where he also has a cinematography credit. Death Cole and lifelong best friend Henry Rollins were assaulted by armed robbers in December 1991 outside their shared Venice Beach, California, home at 809 Brooks Avenue in the Oakwood district.
