Joseph (2018 Film)
''Joseph'' is a 2018 Indian Malayalam-language crime thriller film directed by M. Padmakumar and written by Shahi Kabir. It stars Joju George, Dileesh Pothan, Irshad, Athmiya Rajan, Johny Antony, Sudhi Koppa, Malavika Menon, and Madhuri Braganza. The story, an investigation thriller, develops through the life of four retired policemen. Some scenes in movie (the double crime scene in beginning) is based on real life experience from the writer, Shahi Kabir. Joju won the Kerala State Film Award for Best Character Actor and also won Special Mention in the National Awards. The film was remade in Tamil as ''Visithiran'' (2022), in Telugu as '' Sekhar'' (2022), and in Kannada as ''Ravi Bopanna'' (2022). A Hindi remake is also being made with Sunny Deol in the lead. Joju George
Joseph George, better known as Joju George (born 22 October 1977) is an Indian actor, playback singer and producer who works mainly in Malayalam cinema. He has acted in Malayalam films and worked on Tamil projects as well. In 2015, he won the Kerala State Film Award – Special Mention for his supporting roles in ''Oru Second Class Yathra'' and ''Lukka Chuppi''. His film ''Joseph'' got special mention in 66th National Film Awards 2019. He is the recipient of more than 20 awards, awarded to him for either his acting or production. Karthik (born 7 November 1980) is an Indian playback singer and composer. Karthik started his professional singing career as a backing vocalist and has since been working as a playback singer. He has sung more than 8000 songs in 15 Indian languages including Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, Odia, Bengali, Marathi and Hindi.
