Jorinde Van Klinken
Jorinde van Klinken (; born 2 February 2000) is a Dutch track and field athlete competing in the shot put and discus throw. Her personal best of 70.22m is the current (2021) Dutch record in the discus throw. She represented her country in the discus at the 2019 World Championships in Doha without reaching the final. In the same year, she won a gold medal in the shot put at the 2019 European U20 Championships. On 20 May 2021, she qualified for the Tokyo Olympics with a throw of 65.94m at the Tucson Elite Classic. Education Van Klinken completed her undergraduate degree from Utrecht University in her home country. After that, she pursued her graduate degree in Global Management at Thunderbird School of Global Management at Arizona State University (ASU) in Phoenix, Arizona, USA where she represented the Sun Devils in both discus and shot put. 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships
The 2016 World U20 Championships in Athletics was an international athletics competition for athletes qualifying as juniors (born no earlier than 1 January 1997) which was held at Zdzisław Krzyszkowiak Stadium in Bydgoszcz, Poland on 19–24 July 2016. It was the first time the competition had been held under the new name, having previously been known as World Junior Championships in Athletics. The championships were originally awarded to Kazan, Russia before the hosting rights were withdrawn as a result of ARAF being suspended by the IAAF. Since then, three cities expressed an interest in hosting the championships; on 7 January 2016, the decision was made to reallocate the championships to Bydgoszcz as it was the only city to submit a bid. The medal table was topped by the United States with 11 gold, 6 silver, and 4 bronze medals, followed by Kenya and Ethiopia. Sandra Perković
Sandra Perković (born 21 June 1990) is a Croatian discus thrower. She is a two-time Olympic (2012, 2016) and World (2013, 2017) champion and record six-time European champion ( 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018, 2022) which no other female athlete achieved. She is a six-time Diamond League overall winner. Perković culminated her successful junior career by winning gold at the 2009 European Junior Championships with a new national record. A month later, she made the final of the World Championships as the youngest discus thrower in the field. In her first year of senior competition she won gold at the 2010 European Championships, becoming the youngest ever European champion in women's discus throw.
