Jorge Sebastián Matías Lagües Suárez (born 22 January 1997) is a Chilean professional footballer who plays as a defensive midfielder for in the Segunda División Profesional de Chile. Club career A product of Colo-Colo's youth system, Lagües made his Primera División de Chile debut on 4 January 2015 in a 1–0 home defeat against San Marcos de Arica for the Torneo Clausura. He was sent to the field on 81st minute replacing Jaime Valdés. Likewise, he was member of Colo-Colo squad which won the 2016 Copa Chile. In July 2017, he was loaned to Deportes Valdivia. He made his team debut on 9 July in a 2017 Copa Chile match against Huachipato. He scored his side's goal in a 1–2 home loss. During the Primera B de Chile season, he made 13 appearances and scored two goals: a) the only one goal in the sixth week's 1–0 home victory over Unión San Felipe; b) his side's goal in the 2–1 away loss with San Marcos de Arica. Vallenar
Vallenar is a city and commune in Atacama Region, Chile. It is the capital of the Huasco Province and is located in the valley of the Huasco River. Vallenar has 52,000 inhabitants. Its main activities are farming and mining. It was founded as San Ambrosio de Ballenary by Ambrose O'Higgins in 1789, after his birthplace in Ballynary in County Sligo, Ireland. Llanos de Challe National Park is located northwest of the city of Vallenar. Demographics According to the 2002 census by the National Statistics Institute, Vallenar had 48,040 inhabitants (23,284 men and 24,756 women). Huachipato
Club Deportivo Huachipato is a Chilean football club based in Talcahuano that is a current member of the Chilean Primera División. The club was founded 7 June 1947 and plays its home games at the Estadio CAP, which has a capacity of 10,500 people (all-seated). History In 1947, CD Huachipato was officially notarized, and the first official recorded game was played. The original fans were the local company employees of the steel industry in Huachipato. It took a few years for the club to achieve its first successes, obtaining regional championships in 1956 and 1964. Copa Chile
The Copa Chile (''Chile Cup'') is an annual cup competition for Chilean football teams. Due to time constraints and club pressure, the trophy was cancelled in 2000, but returned in 2008. Its precursor was the Campeonato de Apertura (''Opening Championship''), played from 1933 to 1950. The cup is now open to every member club of the Chilean football league system, from professional teams; ( Primera División, Primera B & Segunda División), down to teams from the ANFA: Tercera División. Since the season 2009, the winners obtained a direct Copa Sudamericana spot for the next season, however this was change starting from the 2015 edition; since then the winners obtains a direct Copa Libertadores spot for the next season.
