Jordan Valley (UTA Station)
Jordan Valley station is a light rail station in West Jordan, Utah, United States, served by the Red Line of the Utah Transit Authority's (UTA) TRAX light rail system. The Red Line provides service from the University of Utah to the Daybreak community of South Jordan. Description The station is located at 3400 West 8600 South but, although the station is situated immediately south of 8600 South, there is not direct vehicle access to the station's parking from that street, only by way of 3200 West. Also, while it is the closest TRAX station to Bangerter Highway ( SR-154), there is no direct access to the station from Bangerter Highway either. The station can be reached from Bangerter Highway by heading east on 9000 South, then north on 3200 West, and finally west on 8660 South. West Jordan is a city in Salt Lake County, Utah, United States. It is a suburb of Salt Lake City and has a mixed economy. According to the 2020 Census, the city had a population of 116,961, placing it as the third most populous in the state. Draper station is a FrontRunner commuter rail station in Draper, Utah. It is operated by the Utah Transit Authority (UTA) and is part of the FrontRunner South extension. Description The station is located at 12997 South FrontRunner Boulevard and is accessed from I-15 by way of the I-15/12300 South (SR-71) interchange. The station is located on the east side of FrontRunner Boulevard. The station can therefore be accessed from either 12300 South (on the north) or 13490 South (on the southeast). The station has a Park and Ride two-level parking garage with 600 parking spaces available. This parking garage is one of only two operated by UTA (the other is at the Jordan Valley TRAX Station) and, as of March 21, 2013, the cost for parking the garage is $1 per day or $15 per month. The parking fees help offset the additional cost of maintaining the parking garages over regular parking lots. Utah State Route 154
State Route 154 (SR-154) or Bangerter Highway (named after former Utah Governor Norman H. Bangerter) is a partial expressway running west and then north from Draper through western Salt Lake County, eventually reaching the Salt Lake City International Airport in Salt Lake City. Construction began in 1988 after planning for the highway began more than two decades prior. For the next ten years, portions of the highway opened as constructed, with the entire route finished by 1998. Original plans for the six-lane expressway running through the western suburbs of Salt Lake City placed Bangerter Highway running further north past the Salt Lake City International Airport into Davis County. South Jordan is a city in south central Salt Lake County, Utah, United States, south of Salt Lake City.
