Jonathan White (cricketer)
Jonathan William White (born 21 August 1979) is a former English cricketer. White was a right-handed Batsman (cricket), batsman who bowled left-arm Seam bowling, medium pace. He was born in Bristol. White represented the Gloucestershire Cricket Board in List A cricket. His debut List A match came against the Yorkshire Cricket Board in the 1999 NatWest Trophy. From 1999 to 2002, he represented the Board in seven List A matches, the last of which came against the Surrey Cricket Board in the 1st round of the 2003 Cheltenham & Gloucester Trophy played in 2002. In his five List A matches, he scored 58 runs at a batting average (cricket), batting average of 14.50, with a high score of 29. As bowler, he took 11 wickets at a bowling average of 15.63, with best figures of 4/14. Jonathan Wickliffe White (born c. 1957 in Panama City, Florida) is a retired United States Navy admiral and oceanography leader. Early life White was born in Panama City, Florida. His father was a World War II Army Air Corps veteran and Purple Heart recipient; his mother supported the war through her work in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. His passion for the ocean began at age seven, thanks to the influence of a Navy diver who lived next door. White received a Bachelor of Science degree in Oceanographic Technology from Florida Institute of Technology in 1981. He received a Master of Arts degree from the US Naval Postgraduate School in 1983. ''Playdate'' is a Television in Canada, Canadian drama anthology television series which aired on CBC Television from 1961 to 1964. Premise The series replaced ''General Motors Presents''. Ed Moser, a story editor from that previous series, became executive producer of ''Playdate''. He reduced the presence of Canadian script writers, featuring nine Canadian-written scripts in the final season of ''Playdate'' compared to 19 Canadian works featured in the final season of ''General Motors Presents''. Robert Goulet hosted the earliest episodes of ''Playdate'', replaced by Christopher Plummer from 20 December 1961. From October 1962, episodes of the UK series ''The Jo Stafford Show'' were occasionally broadcast, billed by the CBC as ''Playdate Presents...''. Pan Am Flight 103 was a regularly scheduled Pan Am transatlantic flight from Frankfurt to Detroit via a stopover in London and another in New York City. The transatlantic leg of the route was operated by ''Clipper Maid of the Seas'', a Boeing 747-121 registered N739PA. Shortly after 19:00 on 21 December 1988, while the aircraft was in flight over the Scottish town of Lockerbie, it was destroyed by a bomb that had been planted on board, killing all 243 passengers and 16 crew in what became known as the Lockerbie bombing. Large sections of the aircraft crashed in a residential street in Lockerbie, killing 11 residents. David White (April 4, 1916 – November 27, 1990) was an American stage, film, and television actor best known for playing Darrin Stephens' boss Larry Tate from 1964 to 1972 on the ABC situation comedy ''Bewitched''. Early life Born on April 4, 1916, in Denver, Colorado, he later moved with his family to Phoenixville, Pennsylvania. He graduated from Los Angeles City College and began acting at the Pasadena Playhouse and the Cleveland Play House. Jonathan Parker Laidley White (born 27 February 1935) is an Australian former national representative rugby union player who made twenty-four Test appearances for his country between 1958 and 1965. He is regarded as one of Australia's finest rugby football players of the 20th century. Jonathan Robert White (1938 – 17 July 2021) was a New Zealand landscape artist. Largely self-taught, his work is recognised both in New Zealand and internationally, and is held in many public and private collections across the world. White painted professionally for over 50 years and held many solo and joint exhibitions; he died two weeks before his final exhibition was held in Invercargill. Biography Born in Gisborne in 1938, White resided in Whakatāne, in the North Island of New Zealand. He was educated at King's College, Auckland, in the 1950s, and in 1982 received an honours tie from the school for distinguishing himself in the field of art.
