He was drafted out of Montana State University in the fourth round of the 2002 NFL Draft by the Detroit Lions. Jonathan Taylor (American Football)
Jonathan Taylor (born January 19, 1999) is an American football running back for the Indianapolis Colts of the National Football League (NFL). Taylor played high school football at Salem High School, where he set the New Jersey state rushing yards record. He played college football at Wisconsin, finishing his college career as the sixth all-time rusher in the NCAA and the first player in history to rush for more than 6,000 yards in any three-year span. Taylor finished in the top ten of Heisman Trophy voting three times. Following each of the 2018 and 2019 seasons, he was named a unanimous first-team All-American and recipient of the Doak Walker Award, the award for the top running back in college football. Taylor was selected in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft with the 41st pick by the Colts. Jonathan Taylor (1796April 1848) was an American lawyer and politician who served one term as a U.S. Representative from Ohio from 1839 to 1841. Biography Born near Mansfield, Connecticut, Taylor moved to Newark, Ohio. He completed an academic course. He studied law. He was admitted to the bar and commenced practice in Newark. He was appointed by the Governor a commissioner to settle the boundary dispute between Ohio and Michigan. Brigadier general in the State militia. Jonathan Taylor (Wisconsin Assemblyman)
Jonathan Taylor was an American pioneer and politician. He was a member of the Wisconsin State Assembly. Taylor began his life in Wabash, Indiana, before moving to the Wisconsin Territory. In 1838, Taylor worked as an agent for a two-horse stage line operating between Mineral Point, Madison and Fort Winnebago, run by Colonel Abner Nichols. While working there, Taylor laid one of the first claims in Sauk County, Wisconsin near present-day Sauk City, along with Berry Haney and Solomon Shore. After Nichols died, Taylor purchased a two horse team and hauled goods between Chicago, Milwaukee, and Madison. During the winter months, Taylor hauled sleds of trout from Green Bay to Galena, Illinois and returned with supplies needed in Fort Winnebago, Fond du Lac and Green Bay. Jonathan Francis Taylor CBE (born 12 August 1935) is the former Chair of the School of Oriental and African Studies (University of London), Board of Governors, Chairman of the Booker Prize Foundation, the Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission and Chair of the Trustees of the International Prize for Arabic Fiction. Jonathan Taylor is a graduate and Fellow of Corpus Christi College, Oxford. He became chair of the Booker Prize Foundation in 2001, having joined Booker plc in 1959 and served as its chief executive from 1984 to 1993. He was a member of the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) Governing Body from 1988 to 2005, and in 2010 was awarded an Honorary Fellowship for his distinguished service to the School.
