Jonathan Chik
Jonathan Chik Gei-yee is a Hong Kong television producer, director, and writer. Chik joined TVB in 1976 as a production assistant. He was an assistant for Kam Kwok-leung, who supported his career. In the early 1990s, Chik left TVB to work as a producer for ATV. Promoted to executive producer, he returned to TVB in 1994. He remained as a producer for TVB until 2012. Chik frequently collaborates with screenwriter Chow Yuk-ming. TVB Anniversary Awards
The TVB Anniversary Awards (), officially known as the TVB Awards Presentation, is an annual awards ceremony honoring TVB's programming achievements in Hong Kong television; despite claims that it is the region's equivalent to the American Emmy and the Australian Logie, no other networks are allowed to enter their programmes into TVB competition, and it is awarded solely to TVB programming. Winners are awarded a copy of the golden TVB anniversary statuette, which depicts a man and a woman holding up TVB's square logo. The TVB Anniversary Awards are only one of three (four, including Asian Television Awards) TVB awards given out. The other two types of TVB awards that are given out before the anniversary awards are: TVB Star Awards Malaysia and StarHub TVB Awards (Singapore). Bowie Lam
Bowie Lam (, Lam Bo-yee; born 4 September 1965) is an Hong Kong actor with the TVB network. He has starred in several popular dramas including ''File of Justice'' and '' Healing Hands''. Before working in entertainment, Lam held other occupations, including serving in the Hong Kong Police Force for a short time. He made his acting debut in 1986 in ''Kiss Me Goodbye'' and his singing debut in 1989. Lam's acting career took off after joining the major television network TVB in 1991. ''At the Threshold of an Era'' () was a Hong Kong epic drama series broadcast by TVB Jade Channel from 11 October to 18 December 1999 and 13 March to 26 May 2000 and was extensively promoted by TVB as its cross-millennium, one-hundred-episode-long epic.
