Johnny Miller
John Laurence Miller (born April 29, 1947) is an American former professional golfer. He was one of the top players in the world during the mid-1970s. He was the first to shoot 63 in a major championship to win the 1973 U.S. Open, and he ranked second in the world on Mark McCormack's world golf rankings in both 1974 and 1975 behind Jack Nicklaus. Miller won 25 PGA Tour events, including two majors. He was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame in 1998. He was the lead golf analyst for NBC Sports, a position he held from January 1990 to February 2019. He is also an active golf course architect. Johnny Miller (born December 25, 1965) is an American racing driver. Miller has 100 career starts in the Trans-Am road racing series, including two wins and 67 top ten finishes. Miller finished in the top ten in Trans-Am points from 1998–2004 with career victories in 2000–2004. Miller is also considered a road course ringer in the NASCAR Nextel Cup Series. Johnny Miller (footballer)
John Tony Miller (21 September 1950 – 18 February 2016) was an English footballer, described by Jeff Kent as an "exciting right winger who provided pinpoint crosses". He scored 23 goals in 213 league games in a 14-year career in the Football League playing for Ipswich Town, Norwich City, Mansfield Town, and Port Vale. He was promoted out of the Second Division with Norwich City in 1974–75, and won the Third Division with Mansfield Town in 1976–77. Career Miller began his career at Ipswich Town. The "Blues" finished 12th in the First Division in 1968–69 under the stewardship of Bobby Robson. They then went on to finish 18th in 1969–70, 19th in 1970–71, and 13th in 1971–72, before launching title challenges that ended with fourth-place finishes in 1972–73 and 1973–74. John MacDonald Miller (15 December 1905, Poughkeepsie, New York State − 23 June 2008, Poughkeepsie) was a barnstorming pilot, the first person to make a US transcontinental flight in a rotorcraft, the first to land a rotorcraft on the roof of a building, and the first to fly a scheduled US mail rotorcraft service. He was also a test pilot and airline captain. He became the oldest active pilot in the US, making his first flight on his 18th birthday and ending at the age of 101. He died aged 102.
