John Thomas Ferguson
John Thomas Ferguson (born December 21, 1941) is a Canadian real estate developer. He served as Chancellor of the University of Alberta from 2000 to 2004. Ferguson attended the University of Alberta and earned a Bachelor of Commerce A Bachelor of Commerce (abbreviated BComm or BCom; also, ''baccalaureates commercii'') is an undergraduate degree in business, usually awarded in Canada, Australia, India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Ireland, New Zealand, Ghana, South Africa, Myanmar, ... degree in 1964. Eric Patrick Newell, OC, AOE, (born December 16, 1944) was the 17th Chancellor of the University of Alberta, having previously served as Chair of its Board of Governors.
