John Bryn Williams (born 1977), known as John B, is an English disc jockey and electronic music producer. He is widely recognised for his eccentric clothing and wild hair and his production of several cutting edge drum and bass tracks. John B ranked number 76 in ''DJ Magazine''s 2010 Top 100 DJs annual poll, announced on 27 October 2010. Career Williams was born on 12 July 1977 in Maidenhead, Berkshire. He started producing music around the age of 14, and now is the head of drum and bass record label Beta Recordings, together with its more specialist drum and bass sub-labels Nu Electro, Tangent, and Chihuahua. John E. Peterson (born September 25, 1948) is an American football executive and former coach. He was the sixth head football coach at Frostburg State University in Frostburg, Maryland, serving for four seasons, from 1977 to 1981, and compiling a record of 14–25. Peterson later served as head coach at Bemidji State University in Bemidji, Minnesota for seven seasons, from 1982 to 1989, compiling a record of 30–40–3. John Allan Peterson (born October 22, 1948, in Cumberland, Wisconsin) is an Americans, American wrestling, wrestler and Olympic champion in freestyle wrestling. Olympics Peterson competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich where he received a silver medal in freestyle wrestling in the middleweight class. He won a gold medal at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec. Peterson's brother, Ben Peterson, also competed in both the 1972 and 1976 Summer Olympics, also winning gold (1972) and silver (1976) medals in freestyle wrestling. He grew up in Comstock, Wisconsin, attending nearby Cumberland High School (Wisconsin), Cumberland High School before graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Stout in 1971. John Peterson (golfer)
John Peterson (born April 18, 1989) is an American professional golfer. Peterson was born in Fort Worth, Texas. He played college golf at Louisiana State University. At LSU, he was a three-time All-American and won twice, including the 2011 NCAA Division I Championship. Peterson turned professional in 2011. He played in two Nationwide Tour events: The Nationwide Children's Hospital Invitational (T2) and the Children's Hospital Classic (T23) and a number of PGA Tour events through sponsor exemptions. Peterson qualified for the 2012 U.S. Open through sectional qualifying. In the third round, he was paired with his mentor and fellow LSU alum David Toms, and Peterson also got a hole in one at the par 3 13th hole. He finished the tournament tied for fourth, which earned him exemptions to the 2013 Masters Tournament and U.S. Open. John Lawrence Peterson (February 10, 1924 – November 30, 2002) was an American author of children's books. He is best known as the creator of ''The Littles'', which began as a series of books in 1967, later adapted into an animated cartoon series by DiC Entertainment. Peterson was also the author of '' The Secret Hide-Out'', a popular Scholastic Books title in the 1960s and 1970s. Biography Peterson was born in Bradford, Pennsylvania on February 10, 1924, and attended Pratt Institute before volunteering and serving as a paratrooper of the 11th Airborne Division in World War II. After the war, he returned to Pratt Institute and graduated in 1948. He lived in the Clinton Hill district of Brooklyn, New York with his wife Holly (Simmonds), also a Pratt graduate, where he had sons Chris (John Christopher), Matthew James, and Joel David Barnes, and a daughter Elizabeth Holly. John Bertram Peterson (July 15, 1871 – March 15, 1944) was an American prelate of the Roman Catholic Church. He served as bishop of the Diocese of Manchester in New Hampshire from 1932 until his death in 1944. He previously served as an auxiliary bishop of the Archdiocese of Boston in Massachusetts from 1927 to 1932 Biography Early life John Peterson was born in Salem, Massachusetts, to a Scandinavian sea captain and an Irish mother.
