John Herbert McLaughlin (1890–1973) was a Scottish footballer who played as an outside right. In his first year at senior level with Hamilton Academical, he took part in the 1911 Scottish Cup Final, which ''Accies'' lost to Celtic after a replay. The Scottish Football League (SFL) was a league featuring professional and semi-professional football clubs mostly from Scotland.One club, Berwick Rangers, is based in the town of Berwick-upon-Tweed, which is located approximately 4 km south of the Anglo-Scottish border. From its foundation in 1890 until the breakaway Scottish Premier League (SPL) was formed in 1998, the SFL was the top level of football in Scotland. Dennistoun is a mostly residential district in Glasgow, Scotland, located north of the River Clyde and in the city's east end, about east of the city centre.
