Johanna Grund
Johanna Christina Grund (born 17 July 1934 in Breslau – died 13 July 2017) was a German journalist, writer and politician with Die Republikaner (REP). She was a member of the European Parliament between 1989 and 1994. Grund was a leading member of the REP during the late 1980s and for a time served as deputy leader. However she became critical of the leadership of Franz Schönhuber as REP began to lose ground in elections in the late 1980s. As part of the power struggle Grund, along with Hans Dorn and Karl Richter, briefly gained control of the party journal ''Der Republikanische Anzeiger'' in 1990 before being forced out by Schönhuber and instead printing the dissident ''Deutsche Rundschau''. Grund even served as interim leader of the party following Schönhuber's temporary resignation in 1990. Nation Europa
''Nation Europa'' (also called ''Nation und Europa'') was a far-right monthly magazine, published in Germany. It was founded in 1951 and was based in Coburg until its closure in 2009. It is also the name of the publishing house that developed the magazine, Nation Europa Verlag. History Founded by former SS commander Arthur Ehrhardt and Herbert Boehme, the publication took its title from a phrase sometimes used by Oswald Mosley to describe his Europe a Nation vision. Adopting a European-wide vision, writers such as Gaston-Armand Amaudruz and Maurice Bardèche were closely associated with the publication. Initially its largest single shareholder was Swedish neo-Nazi and former Olympic athlete Carl-Ehrenfried Carlberg. It was edited by Ehrhardt in association with a board of five made up of Per Engdahl, Hans Oehler, Paul van Tienen, Erik Lærum and Erich Kern. Die Republikaner
The Republicans (german: Die Republikaner, REP) is a national conservative political party in Germany. The primary plank of the programme is opposition to immigration. The party tends to attract protest voters who think that the Christian Democratic Union (CDU) and the Christian Social Union of Bavaria (CSU) are not sufficiently conservative. It was founded in 1983 by former CSU members Franz Handlos and Ekkehard Voigt, and Franz Schönhuber was the party's leader from 1985 to 1994. The party had later been led by Rolf Schlierer, until 2014.
