Johan Kihl
Lieutenant General Lars Johan Kihl (born 14 January 1946) is a retired Swedish Army officer. Kihl has served in positions like commanding officer of Norrland Dragoon Regiment (K 4) from 1992 to 1996, as head of the Strategic Plans and Policy Directorate from 2000 to 2004, as head of the Swedish Armed Forces Special Forces from 2000 to 2004 and as head of the Swedish Armed Forces Headquarters from 2002 to 2004. Early life Kihl became a certified upper secondary school engineer in 1965 before graduating from the Royal Military Academy in 1969. Career Kihl was commissioned as an officer in 1969 and was assigned as a second lieutenant to Västerbotten Regiment (I 20) in Umeå the same year. In 1970 Kihl came to Norrland's Dragoons (K 4) in Umeå and two years later he became captain in the Royal Life Guards Squadron (K 1). Kristinehamn
Kristinehamn is a locality and the seat of Kristinehamn Municipality, Värmland County, Sweden, with 17,839 inhabitants in 2010. Geography Kristinehamn is situated by the shores of lake Vänern where the small rivers ''Varnan'' and ''Löt'' drain into the lake. It has a harbour and is a railroad and road transportation center. Life Regiment Grenadiers ( sv, Livregementets grenadjärer), also I 3, was a Swedish Army infantry unit that was active in various forms 1815–2000. The unit was based in Örebro Garrison in Örebro and belonged to the King's Life and Household Troops (''Kungl. Maj:ts Liv- och Hustrupper'') until 1974. History The unit has its root in the Life Regiment Grenadier Corps (''Livregementets grenadjärkår''), which at the division of the Life Regiments (in 1791) was called the Life Regiment Brigade's Light Infantry Battalion (''Livregementsbrigadens lätta infanteribataljon''), but which in 1804 adopted the name Life Regiment Grenadier Corps.
