Johan Engström (born 16 July 1976) is a Swedish professional darts player who competes in Professional Darts Corporation events. Known as the "Sweet Ferret", Engström has made multiple appearances on the PDC European Tour via the Nordic & Baltic qualifiers, and made his debut for Sweden at the 2021 PDC World Cup of Darts The 2021 Cazoo World Cup of Darts was the eleventh edition of the PDC World Cup of Darts. PDC European Tour
The PDC European Tour is a series of darts tournaments held across Europe organized by the Professional Darts Corporation. Starting in 2012 with five events, the number of events has steadily risen with eight held in 2013 and 2014, nine in 2015, ten in 2016, twelve in 2017, thirteen in both 2018 and 2019, and thirteen once more in 2020 (although that was reduced to four, owing to the COVID-19 pandemic), and only two events took place in 2021, with a return to thirteen events in 2022. These events see the top players on the PDC ProTour Order of Merit compete against players from six different regional qualifiers. Currently the prize fund for each tournament is £140,000, with £25,000 going to the winner. Daniel Larsson (darts Player)
Daniel Larsson (born 9 June 1981) is a Swedish professional darts player. Career Larsson reached the semi final of the 2006 WDF Europe Cup, scoring wins over Tony O'Shea and Martin Phillips before losing to Niels de Ruiter. He then reached the final of the Sweden National Championship, losing to Alan Norris. On 4 December 2008 Larsson qualified for the 2009 BDO World Darts Championship, winning one of five spots. He defeated Steve Farmer in the earlier rounds and then beat Paul Gibbs and Stephen Bunting to qualify. He was drawn against O'Shea in the first round and lost 3–0. In 2018 Larsson competed on the PDC Nordic & Baltic Pro Tour, finishing in the top two to qualify for the 2019 PDC World Darts Championship. In the first round he defeated Robert Thornton in his best win to date before losing to Kim Huybrechts in the second round. The 2021 Cazoo World Cup of Darts was the eleventh edition of the PDC World Cup of Darts. It took place from 9–12 September 2021 at the Sparkassen-Arena in Jena, Germany. Wales (consisting of players Gerwyn Price and Jonny Clayton) were the defending champions, after beating the English team ( Michael Smith and Rob Cross) 3–0 in the 2020 final. However, they lost 2–1 to Scotland ( Peter Wright and John Henderson) in the semi-finals.
