Joe D'Acquisto
Joseph D'Acquisto (born October 30, 1960) is an American retired professional wrestler. He is best known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling from 1996 to 1998 under the ring name Roadblock (also spelled Road Block). Professional wrestling career Early career (1987–1996) D'Acquisto debuted on October 28, 1987. He competed in New England and East Coast independent promotions during the 1980s and 1990s, most notably as a mainstay of International World Class Championship Wrestling, where he wrestled as "The Rochester Roadblock". In 1990, D'Acquisto was the subject of an article by journalist Glen Duffy published in ''Rolling Stone''. In 1991 he made some appearances in the World Wrestling Council in Puerto Rico. Lawrence Wendell Pfohl (born June 2, 1958), better known by the ring name Lex Luger, is an American retired professional wrestler, bodybuilder, and football player. In 2011 he began working with WWE on its wellness policy. He is best known for his work with Jim Crockett Promotions, World Championship Wrestling (WCW), and the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE). In professional wrestling, the independent circuit or indie circuit is the collective noun, collective name of independent professional wrestling promotions which are smaller than major televised promotions. James Manley (born January 4, 1958) is an American retired professional wrestling, professional wrestler, better known by the ring name Jim Powers. He worked for the World Wrestling Federation from 1984 to 1994, then elsewhere until 2010. Tonga 'Uli'uli Fifita (born 10 February 1959) is a Tongan professional wrestler, best known for his appearances in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) and New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW) as Haku. The WCW World Heavyweight Championship was a professional wrestling world heavyweight championship originally used in World Championship Wrestling (WCW) and later, the World Wrestling Federation (WWF, now WWE). It was the original world title of the World Championship Wrestling promotion, spun off from the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. It existed in WCW from 1991 to 2001. In professional wrestling, a battle royal (sometimes battle royale; plural battles royal or battle royals) is a multi-competitor Professional wrestling match types, match type in which wrestlers are eliminated until one is left and declared the winner. Typical battles royal begin with a number of participants in the Wrestling ring, ring, who are then eliminated by going over the top rope and having both feet touch the venue floor.
