Joachim Ziesche
Joachim Ziesche (born 3 July 1939 in Dresden, Nazi Germany) is a retired ice hockey defender. He participated at the 1968 Winter Olympics. He was inducted into the International Ice Hockey Federation Hall of Fame in 1999. He played for SC Dynamo Berlin and holds the record of the second-highest number of goals in club history at 284. He became the head coach for East Germany East Germany, officially the German Democratic Republic (GDR; german: Deutsche Demokratische Republik, , DDR, ), was a country that existed from its creation on 7 October 1949 until its dissolution on 3 October 1990. Eisbären Berlin (; English: ''Berlin Polar Bears'') is a professional ice hockey team based in Berlin, Germany. The team competes in the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL), the highest level of play in professional German ice hockey, and is also one of the league's founding members. The Sports Club Dynamo Berlin was an East German sports club that existed from 1954 to 1991. It was the largest sports club of SV Dynamo, the sports association of the security agencies. The club was disbanded after German reunification and eventually succeeded by sports club SC Berlin.
