Jimmy O'Neill (footballer, Born 1931)
James Anthony O'Neill (13 October 1931 – 15 December 2007) was an Irish international football goalkeeper. He played 405 league games in a 17-year career in the Football League, and also won 17 caps for the Republic of Ireland. Though only , he was able to use his acrobatic ability to save the ball. He spent the whole of the 1950s with Everton, helping the "Toffees" to win promotion out of the Second Division in 1953–54. He was sold on to Stoke City for £5,000 in July 1960, and helped the "Potters" to top the Second Division table in 1962–63. He moved on to Darlington in March 1964, before signing with Port Vale in February 1965. He was loaned out to Cork Celtic in December 1966, before being allowed to join the club permanently on a free transfer in May 1967. He retired the following year, and later ran a taxi firm in Ormskirk. Jimmy O'Neill (footballer, Born 1941)
Jimmy O'Neill (born 24 November 1941) was a Northern Irish footballer who played for Sunderland and the Northern Ireland national football team as a forward. Club career O'Neill made his first appearance for Sunderland on 13 January 1962 against Bristol Rovers in a 6–1 win at Roker Park where he scored two goals. Overall, during 1961 to 1962 he made 7 league appearances, scoring 6 goals before moving to Walsall. He spent from 1962 to 1965 at Walsall, but only managed to make 38 appearances, scoring 13 goals. He then moved to Australia with Melbourne Hakoah before returning to England with Darlington. At his time with Darlington he made 23 appearances, and scored four goals. O'Neill returned to Northern Ireland with Coleraine before finishing his career back in Australia with Melbourne Hakoah. Jimmy O'Neal (born 1967) is an American painter known for large-scale installations of abstract reflective paintings. His work is often experimental, interactive, and inclusive of other media, and is sometimes derived from technological innovations such as an EEG machine and a cymascope. In 1995, he collaborated with fellow students at Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) to create the world's largest painting. The painting was the size of two football fields, and was included in the Guinness Book of World Records with credit to the group under the name "Southern Arts Revival." O'Neal's work includes public and private commissions, museum exhibitions, and numerous group and solo exhibitions at galleries throughout the United States. Jimme O'Neill is a Scottish singer and guitarist who has been the lead singer of Scottish rock band The Silencers since 1984. Having started his musical career with Cha Burns in Fingerprintz in the new wave music scene, they joined Martin Hanlin and Joseph Donnelly in the 1980s to create the band The Silencers. Career Born in Glasgow, Scotland with Irish roots, his first group, named Fingerprintz, recorded three albums from 1977 to 1981. A skilled composer, he has also written songs for artists such as Lene Lovich, Paul Young, Rachel Sweet and Manfred Mann.
