James West (born 15 September 1982) is a Bermudian cricketer. West is a right-handed batsman who bowls right-arm medium-fast. He was born in Bermuda. West made his debut for Bermuda in a List A match against Namibia at the Wanderers Cricket Ground, Windhoek. He later made his second List A appearance against the touring United Arab Emirates at the National Stadium, Hamilton. Following the match against the United Arab Emirates, West played a single Twenty20 match against the same opposition, taking the wicket of Amjad Javed for the cost of 37 runs from three overs. Bermuda National Stadium
Bermuda National Sports Centre is a multi-purpose sports complex in Devonshire Parish, Bermuda, just to the east of the capital, Hamilton. The stadium was built on what was once a field used as a parade and sporting ground within Prospect Camp. Amjad Javed ( ur, ; born 5 July 1980) is a former cricketer who played for the United Arab Emirates national cricket team. He is an allrounder who bats with right-hand and bowls right-arm medium. He is one of the few cricketers for UAE who had played Asia Cup. Amjad Javed's grandfather moved to Dubai from Lahore, Pakistan 50 years ago, when his father was only 2 years old. Amjad Javed is of Pakistani descent but born and raised in UAE. He also worked for Emirates airlines as a baggage handler. Amjad took retirement from all forms of cricket on 22 December 2018. Seam bowling is a bowling technique in cricket whereby the ball is deliberately bowled on to its seam, to cause a random deviation when the ball bounces.
