Jim Lee (Korean 이용철; born August 11, 1964) is a Korean American comic-book artist, writer, editor, and publisher. He is currently the Publisher and Chief Creative Officer of DC Comics. In recognition of his work, Lee has received a Harvey Award, Inkpot Award and three Wizard Fan Awards. He entered the industry in 1987 as an artist for Marvel Comics, illustrating titles such as ''Alpha Flight'' and ''The Punisher War Journal'', before gaining popularity on ''The Uncanny X-Men''. ''X-Men'' #1, the 1991 spin-off series premiere that Lee penciled and co-wrote with Chris Claremont, remains the best-selling comic book of all time, according to ''Guinness World Records''. His style was later used for the designs of '' X-Men: The Animated Series''. James Seymour Lee (born 20 November 1945 - August 2023) was a London-based photographer and film director. A fashion photographer for magazines during the late sixties and seventies, he worked closely with ''Vogue'' editor-in-chief Anna Wintour in London and New York on fashion and advertising shoots. He switched to film directing in the late seventies, creating hundreds of television commercials as well as working on several full-length feature films. His earlier photographs form part of the permanent collection at the Victoria and Albert Museum,Candice Gifford, "The Lost Catwalk Show", ''The Sunday Times'' (London), 11 September 2005, p.26. with additional photographs in the archives of The Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow. James Lee (born 21 April 1953 in Nuneaton, England) is a freelance continuity announcer and newsreader on BBC Radio 4 and the BBC World Service as well as providing links for BBC Radio 4 Extra. Lee is also an amateur radio licence holder in the U.K., operating with the callsign G4AEH. Early life Lee was born in Nuneaton, England and lived in Camp Hill (to the west towards Hartshill). He went to the King Edward VI Grammar School in Nuneaton (now the King Edward VI College). He worked for two years in a bank, and then decided to go to college. At Liverpool Polytechnic (now Liverpool John Moores University), he studied Business. Career He worked in hospital radio at Walsgrave Hospital, and in 1980 was asked to join Mercia Sound in Coventry. Trey Gowdy
Harold Watson "Trey" Gowdy III (born August 22, 1964) is an American television news personality, former politician, and former federal prosecutor who served as the U.S. representative for from 2011 to 2019. His district included much of the Upstate region of South Carolina, including Greenville and Spartanburg. Before his congressional career, Gowdy served as a federal prosecutor in the District of South Carolina from 1994 to 2000 and then as the solicitor (district attorney) for South Carolina's Seventh Judicial Circuit, comprising Spartanburg and Cherokee counties from 2000 to 2010.
