Jim Allen has been writing and photographing for 4x4 magazines including Four Wheeler since the early 1980s, and is the author of eight books on four-wheeling and technical topics. He is credited as a veteran journalist, and a Jeep and four-wheel drive historian. WGTE-TV
WGTE-TV (channel 30) is a PBS member television station in Toledo, Ohio, United States. It is owned by the Public Broadcasting Foundation of Northwest Ohio alongside NPR member WGTE-FM (91.3). The two stations share studios on South Detroit Avenue in Toledo; WGTE-TV's transmitter is located on Corduroy Road in Oregon, Ohio. History WGTE began in 1953 as a low-power television station on the University of Toledo campus, with a broadcast antenna in the belltower of University Hall. It began regular operations in 1959, receiving a full license on October 10, 1960. WGTE has been digital-only since February 17, 2009. Aaron Kaufman (born January 26, 1982) is an American television personality, racing driver, and owner of Arclight Fabrication, a Dallas enterprise that supplies aftermarket components for the Ford F-100 pickup. He is the former lead mechanic for Gas Monkey Garage. He formerly starred in a one-season television show entitled ''Shifting Gears with Aaron Kaufman'' which premiered on March 5, 2018, featuring his new business with Arclight. In September 2015, Kaufman competed in the Speed Energy Formula Off-Road (Stadium Super Trucks) series, driving a Toyo Tires-sponsored truck at the Sand Sports Super Show in Costa Mesa, California. ''Modern Marvels'' is an American worldwide television series that formerly aired on the History Channel and is currently shown on Story Television. The program focuses on how technologies affect and are used in modern society. It is History's first and longest-running program.
