Jessica O'Rourke
Jessica Lynne O'Rourke Çarmıklı (; born 3 January 1986) is a professional football manager and former player who played as a midfielder and a defender. Born in the United States, she represented Turkey internationally. Early life O'Rourke was raised in the Marlton section of Evesham Township, New Jersey, and attended Cherokee High School. Club career Jessica started her professional career in 2008 with the only professional team in the US at that time, the F.C. Indiana Lionesses. She played a significant role as a defensive midfielder for F.C. Indiana as they won USL W-League Central Conference in 2008; advancing to the Championship Finals where she tallied the only goal for the Lionesses in the 47'. The Russian Women's Football Championship (russian: Чемпионат России по футболу среди женщин), also known as the Top Division and the Women's Football League, is the highest professional women's football league in Russia. Zvezda-2005 Perm (russian: "Звезда-2005" Пермь) is a Russian professional women's football club currently competing in the Russian Women's Football Championship. History The club is based in the city of Perm and takes its name from men's team Zvezda Perm, which was dissolved in 1997. USL W-League (1995–2015)
The USL W-League was a North American amateur women's soccer developmental organization. The league was a semi-professional, open league, giving college players the opportunity to play alongside established international players while maintaining their collegiate eligibility. The league was administered by the United Soccer Leagues system (the USL), which also oversees the men's United Soccer League and Premier Development League. Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) was the top-level professional women's soccer league in the United States. It began play on March 29, 2009. The league was composed of seven teams for its first two seasons and fielded six teams for the 2011 season, with continued plans for future expansion. The WPS was the highest level in the United States soccer pyramid for the women's game. On January 30, 2012, the league announced suspension of the 2012 season, citing several internal organization struggles as the primary cause.
