Jeremy Williams (Canadian Football)
Jeremy Williams (born August 9, 1991) is an American football defensive back who is a free agent. He played college football at Hinds and Henderson State. He has been a member of the Calgary Stampeders and Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Early years Williams played high school football at Raymond High School in Raymond, Mississippi. He earned All-District honors three times. He garnered District 3A MVP and Second-Team All-State recognition his senior season after recording 97 tackles and seven interceptions. Williams also lettered in basketball and track. He was a captain on the basketball team, where he earned All-State honors and averaged thirteen points and twelve rebounds per game. College career Williams first played college football for the Hinds Eagles of Hinds Community College. Raymond, Mississippi
Raymond is a city in Hinds County, Mississippi, United States. As of the 2010 census, the city population was 1,933; in 2020, its population was 1,960. Raymond is one of two county seats of Hinds County (along with Jackson) and is the home of the main campus of Hinds Community College. Raymond is part of the Jackson metropolitan statistical area. History In 1829, three commissioners, including John B. Peyton, were appointed by U.S. President Andrew Jackson to find a place near the center of Hinds County for the county seat. The current location of Raymond is a ridge about a mile from the center of the county, and was selected because the actual center was low and subject to flooding. Major League Football (MLFB) is a proposed professional American football minor league consisting of teams that are all league-owned and Major League Football, Inc., is a publicly traded company. MLFB will operate on a strict budget, well under the Alliance of American Football, USFL and the XFL operating budget, while it plans to be a developmental league similar to the NBA G League or Triple-A baseball. Hamilton Tiger-Cats
The Hamilton Tiger-Cats are a professional Canadian football team based in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. They are currently members of the East Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL). The 2013 NFL Draft was the 78th annual meeting of National Football League (NFL) franchises to select newly eligible football players. Minicamp
A mini-camp, also spelled minicamp, is a short camp held by National Football League (NFL) and Canadian Football League (CFL) teams usually in spring of each year. The camp usually only lasts 3 days, but the length varies by a day or two depending on the head coach's preference. Mini-camps are geared toward getting the newly drafted rookies acclimated to the NFL playing schemes. It also gives coaches and team administrators the chance to see their new players in action learning plays from their new team's playbook. Several veteran players of each team will also attend mini-camp to refresh their skills and get acquainted with the new players coming in. Attendance requirements for mini-camp are entirely up to each individual head coach. Some head coaches push for all of the players to be there, while others ask for just the rookies and younger players to attend.
