Eunice Jepkorir
Eunice Jepkorir Kertich (born 17 February 1982) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specialises in the steeplechase. She was the 2008 Olympic silver medalist in the event and bronze medalist at the 2007 World Championships in Athletics. She is from Eldama Ravine. Her parents are farmers and she has eight siblings (four brothers and four sisters). She started serious running at the age of 15 while at high school. Joan Jepkorir Aiyabei
Joan Jepkorir Aiyabei (born 17 May 1979 in Uasin Gishu) is a Kenyan long-distance runner. In 1996, she finished in 5th place in the women's 5000 metres at the 1996 World Junior Championships in Athletics held in Sydney, Australia. She finished sixteenth at the 2002 World Cross Country Championships, but this was not enough to give her a place on the medal-winning team. She finished the season on a high note with a win at the Cross Internacional de Venta de Baños. At the 2003 World Cross Country Championships she finished twelfth in the long race, while the Kenyan team, of which Aiyabei was a part, won the silver medal in the team competition. Valentine Jepkorir Kipketer (born 5 January 1993) is a Kenyan long-distance runner who specialises in the half marathon and marathon distances. She has won marathons in Mumbai and Amsterdam and represented her country at the 2013 World Championships in Athletics. She has personal bests of 2:23:02 hours for the marathon and 1:08:21 hours for the half marathon. Kipketer first emerged in cross country running competitions: after a fifth place at the 2008 Eurocross at the age of fifteen, in 2009 she came third at the Discovery Cross Country Championships in Eldoret and was the North Rift Valley junior champion. Her international career began in 2010 in the Netherlands: she ran a 5000 metres best of 16:22.83 minutes at the FBK Games, came third at the 4 Mijl van Groningen and was in the top ten at the Zevenheuvelenloop.
