Jeong Shung-hoon
Jeong Shung-hoon (; born 4 July 1979) is a South Korean football (soccer), footballer who most recently played for Bucheon FC 1995, Bucheon FC as striker. He has also represented South Korea national football team. Career He started his career at Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i in 2002. He was a promising striker and was selected for the South Korean national team for the 2001 Universiade game, but didn't play very well. He said in an interview that "I was under stress that I had to play well to make something impressive, so I think it is the main reason I couldn't make many goals or contributions to team." Then, finally, he transferred to Daejeon Citizen, making a turning point in his career. However, he did not fulfil his role in Daejeon Citizen, and could not impress fans of the club. Daejeon World Cup Stadium
Daejeon World Cup Stadium is a football stadium in the South Korean city of Daejeon. It was used to host some matches at the 2002 FIFA World Cup hosted by South Korea and Japan. The stadium displayed a sophisticated structural dynamism, eliminating decorative decoration. Precast Concrete (PC) method considering construction and economical efficiency was used. After the World Cup, the stadium was planned to be a multi-purpose sports park, which has a comprehensive sports center and commercial and cultural facilities in the middle of the region. K League (Hangul: K리그) is South Korea's professional football league. It includes first division K League 1 and second division K League 2. Lee Dong-gook (, ; born 29 April 1979) is a South Korean former professional footballer who played as a striker. He is a record scorer in the K League 1, and had brief spells in Europe with Werder Bremen and Middlesbrough. Huh Jung-moo (Korean: 허정무, Hanja: 許丁茂; born 13 January 1955) is a former South Korean football player and manager. Playing career Huh was one of the best South Korean college footballers before starting his semi-professional career. He was often compared with Korea University's Cha Bum-kun while playing for Yonsei University. After his graduation, he joined Korea Electric Power FC, and simultaneously enlisted in Marine Corps and Navy FC to do mandatory military service. When Huh was discharged from the military service, European clubs were interested in Asian players due to Cha Bum-kun's performance in the Bundesliga.
