Jenny (Australian TV Film)

	Jenny (Australian TV Film) ''Jenny'' is a 1962 Australian TV drama. Plot Jenny is a 16-year-old girl whose father Roger, an actor, and mother Margaret, a television personality, have been separated for 15 months. Jenny has a boyfriend, Michael, a law student. Margaret tells Jenny she has met a Melbourne businessman, Rex Porter, that she wants to marry. This sends Jenny out looking for her father and boyfriend. She winds up at a party at Kings Cross being held by beatniks. She gets a cab driver to take her to The Gap where she intends on committing suicide. However the cab driver talks her out of it and takes Jenny home to her father. Roger returns and he and Margaret realise how troubled Jenny is. They decide to try again for her sake. 	Boy Round The Corner ''Boy Round the Corner'' is an Australian film which aired in 1962. Broadcast live on ABC, it was set in Sydney but produced in Melbourne. Australian TV drama was relatively rare at the time. The archival status of the film is not known, given the wiping of the era. Plot Gerry Lacey, the son of a shoemaker, attempts to rob a taxi. The taxi crashes, killing the driver and injuring Gerry. He then appears in the living room of a cafe owner he is friendly with, Nev Hallors. Nev owns a cafe in Erskineville and regards Gerry and his sister Sue like his own children. Shannon is the brother of the driver who was killed. Carrie is Gerry's society girlfriend.
