Jennifer Murphy (comics)
Jennifer Dragon, originally Jennifer Murphy and sometimes using the codename Smasher, is a recurring comic book character in Erik Larsen's ''Savage Dragon'' and Robert Kirkman's ''Invincible''. The wife of the Savage Dragon and mother of Angel and Malcolm Dragon, she debuted in the first issue of '' The Savage Dragon: Sex & Violence'' mini-series, though she had a one-panel cameo prior to that in ''Savage Dragon'' issue 40. Fictional character biography Before ''The Savage Dragon'' The Savage Dragon characters appeared in two series prior to Image Comics' founding, but neither are canon to the current ''Savage Dragon'' series. In ''Graphic Fantasy'', a self-published title by Larsen and two friends, The Dragon was a widower, with his wife Liz being shown in flashback in both issues. Dynamo 5 is a fictional comic book superhero team created by writer Jay Faerber and artist Mahmud A. Asrar, which appears in an eponymous series published by Image Comics. The team first appeared in ''Dynamo 5'' #1 (Jan. 2007). The monthly series ended with issue #25 (Oct. 2009). The team later appeared in a 2010 miniseries, ''Dynamo 5: Sins of the Father'', and the one-shot ''Dynamo 5 Holiday Special 2010'' (Dec. 2010). Shattered Image
''Shattered Image'' is a 1998 thriller film written by Duane Poole and directed by Chilean filmmaker Raúl Ruiz. It stars William Baldwin, Anne Parillaud and Lisanne Falk. According to academic Michael Goddard, this is a confusing and surreal film about complicated identities which "parallel David Lynch's moebius strip style films also dealing with parallel identities and realities that he was making at he sametime, '' Lost Highway'' (1997) and '' Mulholland Dr.'' (2001)." ''Vanguard'' is a fictional alien superhero created by Gary Carlson and Erik Larsen for Carlson's self-published anthology ''Megaton''. Vanguard is a white alien with small antennae who has been given the unenviable job of guarding Earth, which is viewed by the aliens as boring with little chance of anything happening. His sole companion is a sarcastic, hovering cycloptic robot and their morphing androids, though he quickly developed a relationship with a reporter Roxanne Wells.
