Jelena Jerinić
Jelena Jerinić ( sr-Cyrl, Јелена Јеринић; born 1978) is a Serbian academic and politician. She is a law professor at Union University in Belgrade and has served in the National Assembly of Serbia since 2022. Jerinić is a member of the Green–Left Front (ZLF). Private career Jerinić has a bachelor's degree from the University of Belgrade Faculty of Law (2002), a master's degree from Utrecht University in comparative public law and good governance (2003), and a doctorate from the Union University School of Law (2011). She worked for the non-governmental organization ''Civic Initiatives'' in Belgrade in 2001–02, was secretary of the national enrolment commission in Serbia's ministry of education and sports in 2002–03, and was an advocacy team leader at the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipalities from 2004 to 2006. Serbian Progressive Party
The Serbian Progressive Party ( sr-cyrl, Српска напредна странка, Srpska napredna stranka, SNS) has been the ruling political party of Serbia since 2012. Founded by Tomislav Nikolić and Aleksandar Vučić in 2008 as a split from the far-right Serbian Radical Party (SRS), the SNS served in opposition to the Democratic Party (DS) for the next several years.
