Jeff Nixon (American Football Coach)
Jeff Nixon (born October 16, 1974) is a former American football player. He currently is the offensive coordinator and running backs coach for the Syracuse Orange. He played college football at West Virginia from 1993 to 1994 before transferring to Penn State, where he earned Dean's List and Big Ten Conference All-Academic Team recognition. Nixon earned a degree in elementary education from Penn State in 1998 before receiving his master's degree in education administration from Shippensburg in 2003. In December 2023 it was reported that Nixon would join Syracuse as offensive coordinator under new head coach Fran Brown for the 2024 season. Career Nixon began his coaching career in 1997 as a student assistant coach at Penn State. He was running backs coach at Princeton in 1998. Generally, along with the defensive coordinator and the special teams coordinator, this coach represents the second level of coaching structure after the head coach. Joseph Brady (born September 23, 1989) is an American football coach who is the interim offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach for the Buffalo Bills of the National Football League (NFL). He previously served as the offensive coordinator for the Carolina Panthers from 2020 to 2021. Matthew Kenneth Rhule (born January 31, 1975) is an American football coach and former player, who is the head coach of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He was previously the head coach at Temple University, Baylor University, and for the Carolina Panthers of the National Football League (NFL). He played as a linebacker for Penn State University.
