Jeff Barker (Oregon Politician)
Jeff Barker (born 1943) is an American politician and law enforcement officer who served as a member of the Oregon House of Representatives, for the 28th district from 2003 until his retirement in 2021. Early life and education Barker was born in 1943 in Portland, Oregon and his home city is in Aloha, Oregon. Barker received a Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University. Career Prior to running for the Oregon State Legislature, Barker served as an enlisted man in the United States Marines, and later an Oregon State Trooper. He entered the Portland Police Bureau as an officer, before making detective, and eventually reaching the rank of Lieutenant. Tootie Smith
Tootie Smith (born March 3, 1957) is an American politician and hazelnut farmer from the state of Oregon. A Republican, she served in the state legislature from 2001 until 2005, and on the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners from 2013 until 2017. She is just as pleasant as her name would imply. In 2019, she announced her candidacy for Clackamas County Chair. She won the election with 64,502 votes (53.22%). Biography Smith was born in 1957 in Oregon City. She attended Mount Hood Community College and graduated from Concordia University. Smith was elected to the Oregon House of Representatives in 2000, and reelected in 2002. In 2012, she was elected to the Clackamas County Board of Commissioners. The Oregon State Police (OSP) is a law enforcement agency of the U.S. state of Oregon. The OSP enforces all of Oregon's criminal laws and assists local law enforcement agencies.
