Jeewanlal Motichand Shah
Jeewanlal Motichand Shah (1881–1971) was a noted Gandhian and an industrialist, who was co-founder of Mukund Limited. He was the father of Viren J. Shah. Early life Jeewanlal was born to Motichand Pethraj Shah in year 1881 in a Gujarati family based in Calcutta. He was married to Jayaben with whom he had a son, Viren born in 1926. Business career Aluminum utensils factory Jeewanlal started his business career in 1912, as a dealer of aluminium utensils but soon started an aluminium utensils factory, in his name Jeewanlal & Company. Later he expanded business and established a large factory in 1917 at Belur the products of which were sold under very popular "CROWN" brand. He very soon became established and noted industrialist of Calcutta. He helped Ramjibhai Kamani, get established in town in his early years who began his business career by selling Jeewanlal's aluminium utensils in 1912. Dhirubhai Ambani
Dhirajlal Hirachand Ambani (28 December 1932 – 6 July 2002), popularly known as Dhirubhai Ambani, was an Indian business tycoon who founded Reliance Industries. Ambani took Reliance public in 1977 and was worth US$2.9 billion in 2002 upon his death. In 2016, he was honoured posthumously with the Padma Vibhushan, India's second-highest civilian honour for his contributions to trade and industry. Saurashtra (region)
Saurashtra, also known as Sorath or Kathiawar, is a peninsular region of Gujarat, India, located on the Arabian Sea coast. It covers about a third of Gujarat state, notably 11 districts of Gujarat, including Rajkot District. It was formerly a Saurashtra (state), state of India before it merged with Bombay state. In 1961 it separated from Bombay and joined Gujarat. Location Saurashtra peninsula is bound on the south and south-west by the Arabian sea, on the north-west by the Gulf of Kutch and on the east by the Gulf of Khambhat. Chorwad or Chorvad is a city and a municipality in Malia Hatina Taluka of Junagadh district in the state of Gujarat, India. It lies on the coast of the Arabian Sea. Viren Shah
Viren J. Shah (12 May 1926 – 9 March 2013) was an Indian politician and 17th Governor of West Bengal. Kurla (Pronunciation: uɾlaː is a neighbourhood of East Mumbai, India. It is the headquarters of the Kurla taluka of Mumbai Suburban district.
