Jay Clark (sport Shooter)
Jay Clark Jr. (January 25, 1880 – February 6, 1948) was an American sport shooter who competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics. In 1920 he won the gold medal as member of the American team in the team clay pigeons competition. Newton is the county seat of, and most populous city in, Jasper County, Iowa, United States. Located east of Des Moines, Newton is in Central Iowa. As of the 2020 Census, the city population was 15,760. It is the home of Iowa Speedway, Maytag Dairy Farms, and the Iowa Sculpture Festival.
