Jawahir Ahmed ( so, Jawaahir Axmed; ar, جواهر احمد) is a Somalis, Somali-United States, American model. Personal life Ahmed was born in 1991 in Logan, Utah to Somali people, Somali parents. Her family had moved to the United States earlier that year as the Somali Civil War, civil war in Somalia began. Her family hails from the Osman Mahmoud, Osman Mahamoud sub clan of the larger Majeerteen For her post-secondary education, Ahmed is studying at the Utah State University on a scholarship. Majoring in Health Education with a specialization in Health Sciences, she hopes to eventually serve as a health adviser for Engineers Without Borders. Ahmed is concurrently working for AmeriCorps and the CPASS college preparation program. Career Ahmed is signed to the Stars Talent Group modeling agency. Logan, Utah
Logan is a city in Cache County, Utah, United States. The 2020 census recorded the population was 52,778. Logan is the county seat of Cache County and the principal city of the Logan metropolitan area, which includes Cache County and Franklin County, Idaho. The Logan metropolitan area contained 125,442 people as of the 2010 census and was declared by Morgan Quitno in 2005 and 2007 to be the safest in the United States in those years. AmeriCorps (officially the Corporation for National and Community Service or CNCS) is an independent agency of the United States government that engages more than five million Americans in service through a variety of stipended volunteer work programs in many sectors. Majeerteen
The Majeerteen ( so, Majeerteen, ar, ماجرتين; also spelled Majerteen, Macherten, Majertain, or Mijurtin) is a sub-clan. It is one of the major Somali groups, with a vast traditional territory spanning 3 major regions of Somalia: Bari, Nugaal and Mudug. From Bosaso down to Garacad, the Majerteen settle in what is literally considered to be the 'Horn of Africa'. They can also be found in Kismayo in southern Somalia. Its members form a part of the Harti Darod clan family, and primarily inhabit the Puntland state of northern Somalia.
