Jamie Grant (born 23 June 1970) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for Footscray in the Australian Football League (AFL) in 1991. He was recruited from the Daylesford Football Club in the Central Highlands Football League with the 22nd selection in the 1990 Mid-year Draft. He was also drafted by Sydney Sydney ( ) is the capital city of the state of New South Wales, and the most populous city in both Australia and Oceania. ''Flikken Maastricht'' (Belgian Dutch for "Maastricht Cops") is a Dutch police drama. The series is set in Maastricht, Limburg, a city in the south of the Netherlands, and began broadcasting on Dutch channel NPO 1 on 3 September 2007. The series is a spin-off of the Flemish show ''Flikken'' set in Ghent, Belgium. Premise On 24 November 2006 it was published that Victor Reinier and ex- ''GTST''-actress Angela Schijf would play a main role on the show. On the same day, the contracts with the city of Maastricht and the police of Limburg-Zuid were signed. On 18 March 2007 the complete cast was announced. The first episode of the series aired on 3 September 2007 at 10:00pm by the Dutch broadcast organisation TROS on channel Nederland 1. 13 weeks later, on 26 November, the last episode of the first season was aired. Alan Grant (9 February 194920 July 2022) was a British comic book writer known for writing Judge Dredd in '' 2000 AD'' as well as various Batman titles from the late 1980s to the early 2000s. He was the co-creator of the characters Anarky, Victor Zsasz, and the Ventriloquist. Career Early career and ''2000 AD'' Grant first entered the comics industry in 1967 when he became an editor for D.C. Thomson before moving to London from Dundee in 1970 to work for IPC on various romance magazines. After going back to college and having a series of jobs, Grant found himself back in Dundee and living on Social Security. He then met John Wagner, another former D.C. Thomson editor, who was helping put together a new science fiction comic magazine for IPC, ''2000 AD'', and was unable to complete his other work.
