James Wiggins (American Football)
James Wiggins (born April 26, 1997) is an American football strong safety for the New Orleans Breakers of the United States Football League (USFL). He played college football at Cincinnati, and was drafted by the Arizona Cardinals in the seventh round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Early years Wiggins attended South Dade Senior High School in Homestead, Florida. He originally committed to the University of Miami to play college football but switched his commitment to the University of Cincinnati. College career Wiggins played at Cincinnati from 2016 to 2020. Over the course of his college career, Wiggins was named to Bruce Feldman's college football freaks list multiple times for his outstanding athleticism. He redshirted his first year in 2016. He became a starter his sophomore year in 2018, a season in which Wiggins would have two game winning interceptions for the Bearcats. James Russell Wiggins
James Russell Wiggins (December 4, 1903 – November 19, 2000) was an American managing editor of ''The Washington Post'' and United States Ambassador to the United Nations. In Minnesota Wiggins' first job in journalism was as reporter for the '' Rock County Star'' in Luverne, Minnesota immediately out of high school. In 1925, at the age of 22, he borrowed $10,000 and bought the newspaper. In 1930, he moved to St. Paul to become an editorial writer for the '' St. Paul Pioneer Press'' and later served as Washington correspondent before becoming managing editor in 1938. ''Washington Post'' years During World War II, Wiggins served in Army Air Corps intelligence. While serving in the army, he met Philip Graham who would later become publisher of ''The Washington Post''. Graham made Wiggins managing editor of ''The Post'' in 1947 and promoted him to executive editor in 1955. During 1960 to 1968, he worked as editor and executive vice president. James "Boodle It" Wiggins
James "Boodle It" Wiggins was an American blues singer and musician. His best known recordings were "Keep Knockin' An You Can't Get In", a precursor of both " Keep A-Knockin'" and " I Hear You Knocking"; plus his versions of " Corrine, Corrina" and "Shave 'Em Dry", albeit slightly re-titled. Wiggins recorded eight tracks that were released in his lifetime by Paramount Records, and another six that were not issued until later. The latter six were originally earmarked for Vocalion Records or Brunswick Records. His accompanists on his recorded work are thought to include variously Bob Call, Blind Leroy Garnett, and Charlie Spand on piano. Little is known of his life outside of music. Jim Wiggins (13 March 1922 – 1999) was an English actor, best known for his role as Paul Collins in the long-running television soap '' Brookside''. Wiggins was born in Birkenhead. An amateur actor for many years, he finally turned professional in 1978, having had careers in the Army, civil service as a teacher and later a Deputy Headmaster. As well as his role in ''Brookside'' (from 1982 to 1990), he appeared in a number of other television series.
