Jahangir Asgari
Jahangir Asgari (born November 22, 1986) is an Iranian footballer who plays as a forward. Club career After playing at First Division club Niroye Zamini, Asgari joined Paykan F.C. in Iran Pro League in 2008. He was the best goal scorer of the season for Paykan on 2010–2011 season but that could not help Paykan and club was relegated to lower division. Darreh Shahr
Darreh Shahr ( fa, درهشهر) is a city, and seat of Darreh Shahr County, located in the south-eastern part of Ilam Province, in the northern foothills of Kabir Kuh ranges. According to the 2016 census there are 21,900 residents, making it the second-largest city in the province. The city is populated by Kurds and Lurs. History It is believed that Darreh Shahr was once Madaktu, an important city in the Anshan Province of Elam, Elamite Kingdom with a population of about 74,000. The 2008–09 Persian Gulf Cup (also known as Iran Pro League) was the 26th season of Iran's Football League and eighth as Iran Pro League since its establishment in 2001. Persepolis were the defending champions. The season featured 15 teams from the 2007–08 Persian Gulf Cup and two new teams promoted from the 2007–08 Azadegan League: Payam Mashhad as champions and Foolad. Damash replaced Pegah. Rah Ahan Sports Club ( fa, باشگاه ورزشی راهآهن, ''Bashgah-e Vârzeshi-ye Rahâhen''), commonly known as Rah Ahan Football Club, is an Iranian professional football club based in Tehran. They currently play in the Azadegan League. Rah Ahan is the oldest Iranian football club. History Establishment Rah Ahan was formed in 1937 in Tehran by Iran Railways but were bought by Mehr Afarin Holding. They are one of the oldest Iranian football clubs still in existence. In 1939 Rah Ahan participated in the Tehran Local League for the first time. Their first official match was on 4 January 1940 against Bazargani F.C.; they won the game 11–0.
