Jacksonville High School is a public high school located in Jacksonville, Alabama, USA, serving grades 7–12. It is part of the Jacksonville City Schools system. Its colors are blue and gold. Until 1998, the school was located adjacent to the Jacksonville State University campus on Pelham Road North. The current school building was built on part of the site of the former Jacksonville Airport. Jacksonville High School (Arkansas)
Jacksonville High School (JHS) is a secondary public school located in Jacksonville, Arkansas for students in grades nine through twelve. JHS serves students in the Jacksonville and McAlmont communities and is administered by the Jacksonville North Pulaski School District (JNPSD). The school was previously in the Pulaski County Special School District. In 2007, Jacksonville requested to become separated from the PCSSD and form its own school district, but a final decision had not been made on that request. History On May 18, 1907, the Jacksonville Special School District was formed and remained in existence until 1927 when the Pulaski County Special School District consolidated the county's school districts except North Little Rock and Little Rock school districts. Jacksonville High School's primary rival school is North Pulaski High School, Jacksonville's other secondary school which is located on the west side of the city. Jacksonville High School (JHS) is an International Baccalaureate high school located in Jacksonville, North Carolina for students in grades 9–12. Academics Jacksonville High School offers regular, honors, advanced placement, and International Baccalaureate program courses. The course of study usually follows a certain career path determined by the student, upon which they obtain a concentration. Academics are based on an unweighted 4.0 scale and a class rank is also determined by these standards. Athletics Jacksonville High School is in the 3A Coastal Conference with other area schools.
