Jack Saunders (Australian Footballer)
Jack Saunders is a professional Australian Rules Football player who most recently played for the Hawthorn Football Club in the Australian Football League (AFL). He was recruited from Norwood in South Australia. He has also played for Box Hill Hawks in the Victorian Football League. Early life Saunders played his junior football at Walkerville and the Unley jets, before moving to Norwood in the SANFL. He attended Prince Alfred College. Norwood Football Club
Norwood Football Club, nicknamed the Redlegs, is an Australian rules football club competing in the South Australian National Football League (SANFL) in the state of South Australia. Its home ground is Coopers Stadium (Norwood Oval), which is often referred to as "The Parade". It is one of the two traditional powerhouse clubs of the SANFL, the other being Port Adelaide, who together have won half of all SANFL premierships (see Port Adelaide–Norwood SANFL rivalry). The Walkerville Football Club, nicknamed the ''Cats'', is an Australian rules football club that plays in the Adelaide Footy League and is based in Walkerville, Adelaide. History The Walkerville Football Club was officially founded in 1901 but before then there have been previous Walkerville-based clubs. On 19 April 1876, there was a meeting to start a proposed Walkerville Football Club, and there was a Walkerville club that played at Gilberton in 1883.
