Jack Frederick Richardson (23 September 1921 – 3 June 2011) was an Australian politician. He was a member of the New South Wales Legislative Assembly for 6 months in 1952-3 and a member of the Labor Party. Richardson was born in Ashfield, New South Wales, the son of a railway employee. He was educated at the Law School of the University of Sydney and admitted as a solicitor in 1952. During the Second World War, Richardson served with the Royal Australian Air Force in an anti-aircraft battery between 1941 and 1945. Richardson was elected to the New South Wales Parliament as the Labor member for Ashfield at the 1952 by-election caused by the resignation of the sitting Liberal member Athol Richardson who had accepted a position as a judge of the Supreme Court of New South Wales. Jack Arnold Richardson CM (23 July 1929 – 13 May 2011) was a Juno Award-nominated Canadian record producer and Order of Canada recipient. He is perhaps best known for producing the biggest hit records from The Guess Who from 1969 to 1975. He was part of the faculty at Fanshawe College in London, Ontario as an educator in the Music Industry Arts program for almost 20 years, as well as at the Harris Institute for the Arts in Toronto, Ontario. His son is well-known record producer Garth Richardson. Biography Richardson was born in Toronto, Ontario, and had early musical training playing in various school bands. Jack Carter Richardson (February 18, 1934 – July 1, 2012) was an American writer born in Manhattan, and his birthplace erroneously has been reported as Bristol, Virginia. He was known for his existentialist dramas of the early 1960s. Biography Raised in the Jackson Heights section of Queens, New York City, the son of Arthur Richardson, a piano player during Prohibition who co-wrote "Too Fat Polka (She's Too Fat for Me)". After his mother died and his father remarried, he was raised by his grandmother. He graduated from Collegiate High School in Manhattan.
