John Joseph O'Connor (June 2, 1866 – November 14, 1937), also known as ''Peach Pie'', was a utility player in Major League Baseball in the American Association, the National League, and the American League, primarily used as an outfielder. Career O'Connor began his career as a left fielder and catcher for the Cincinnati Red Stockings, and he soon moved his way around the infield. He also played for the Columbus Solons from 1889 to 1891, and in 1892, he joined the Cleveland Spiders, where he would stay until 1898, when the owners of the St. Louis Browns were buying their players from the Spiders, who ceased to exist in 1899. O'Connor moved west to play with the Perfectos until 10 games into the 1900 season, he was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates. He played one season with the New York Highlanders before finishing his career back in St. Louis with the Browns. O'Connor is one of only 29 players in baseball history to date who have appeared in Major League games in four decades. ...

John Denis Alphonsus O'Connor (9 September 187523 August 1941) was an Australian cricketer who played in four Tests from January 1908 to May 1909. On his debut, he took five wickets in the second innings against England in Adelaide. Jack O'Connor (6 November 1897 – 22 February 1977) was an English cricketer who played in four Tests from 1929 to 1930. O'Connor was the son of John O'Connor who played for Derbyshire and nephew of Herbert Carpenter who played for Essex. O'Connor's was a mainstay of the Essex county side between the Wars, scoring 1,000 runs a season 16 times. Of diminutive stature, he was quick to drive and pull but was suspect against the fastest bowling and suffered occasional fallow spells in the county game. He compiled 72 centuries in all, including one against every other county and university side. Bowling a mix of leg and off spin, O'Connor took 557 wickets, including 93 in 1926. He played one Test against South Africa in 1929 and, that winter, three more as part of a below strength touring team in the West Indies. Jack O'Connor (born 23 October 1960) is an Irish Gaelic football manager and former player. In 2021, he was appointed manager of the senior Kerry county team, having earlier managed it over two terms in the 2000s. O'Connor played football with his local club Dromid Pearses from the 1970s until the early 2000s. Jack O'Connor (born 1 October 1998) is an Irish hurler who plays for Cork Senior Championship club Sarsfields and at inter-county level with the Cork senior hurling team. He usually lines out as a corner-forward. John Woolf O'Connor (January 22, 1902 – January 20, 1978) was a writer and outdoorsman, best known as a writer for ''Outdoor Life'' magazine, where he served as Shooting Editor for 31 years. Early life Jack O'Connor was born in ''Nogales, Arizona''; a territory he described as the last frontier. His parents divorced when he was a young child and his maternal grandfather James Woolf, who helped raise him and exposed him to the outdoors and hunting.
