Jace Jung
Jace Andrew Jung (born October 4, 2000) is an American baseball second baseman in the Detroit Tigers organization. He played college baseball for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Early life and amateur career Jung grew up in San Antonio, Texas and attended Douglas MacArthur High School. Jung enrolled at Texas Tech University to play college baseball for the Texas Tech Red Raiders. Jung batted .264 through 19 games games of his true freshman season before it was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic. As a redshirt freshman, Jung and was named the Big 12 Conference Baseball Player of the Year after batting for a .337 average with 21 home runs and 67 RBIs. During the summer of 2021, he played for the Orleans Firebirds of the Cape Cod Baseball League. Jung was named the preseason Big 12 Player of the Year going into his redshirt sophomore season. The ''Fort Worth Star-Telegram'' is an American daily newspaper serving Fort Worth and Tarrant County, the western half of the North Texas area known as the Metroplex. It is owned by The McClatchy Company. History In May 1905, Amon G. Carter accepted a job as an advertising space salesman in Fort Worth. 2019 MLB Draft
The 2019 Major League Baseball (MLB) First-Year Player Draft was held from June 3 to 5, 2019. The draft assigned amateur baseball players to MLB teams. The draft order was set based on the reverse order of the 2018 MLB season standings. In addition, compensation picks were distributed for players who did not sign from the 2018 MLB Draft and for teams that lost qualifying free agents. Joshua Ryne Jung (born February 12, 1998) is an American professional baseball third baseman for the Texas Rangers (baseball), Texas Rangers of Major League Baseball (MLB).
