The JPM 01 Médoc is a French amateur-built aircraft that was designed by Jean-Pierre Marie in 1987 and produced by Avions Jean-Pierre Marie (JPM) of Le Mesnil-Esnard. A flap is a high-lift device used to reduce the stall (flight), stalling speed of an aircraft wing at a given weight. Flaps are usually mounted on the wing trailing edges of a fixed-wing aircraft. Tractor Configuration
In aviation, a tractor configuration is a propeller-driven fixed-wing aircraft with its engine mounted with the propeller in front, so that the aircraft is "pulled" through the air. This is the usual configuration; the pusher configuration places the airscrew behind, and "pushes" the aircraft forward.
