J'Wan Roberts
J'Wan Andone Roberts (born September 19, 2001) is an American college basketball player who last played for the Houston Cougars of the Big 12 Conference. Early life and high school career Roberts was born and raised in Saint Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. After completing the 8th grade, he moved to the United States to live with his aunt in Killeen, Texas, in order to pursue a basketball career and increase his exposure to scouts. Houston coach Kelvin Sampson first noticed Roberts in 2017 while scouting another player at an exhibition game in Las Vegas. Sampson began tracking Roberts' career and following a strong junior season at Shoemaker High School, offered him a scholarship. Following an official visit, Roberts committed to the University of Houston on September 2, 2018. College career Roberts redshirted during the 2019–20 season. Basketball is a sport with five players on the court for each team at a time. Each player is assigned to different Position (team sports), positions defined by the strategic role they play. Gregory Wayne "Cadillac" Anderson (born June 22, 1964) is an American former professional basketball player. College career He attended and played collegiate basketball at the University of Houston, where he was one of the last original members of the famed Phi Slama Jama “fraternity”. He competed in the 1984 Final Four in Seattle while at Houston. Professional career A 6'10" power forward/center, Anderson was selected 23rd overall by the San Antonio Spurs in the 1987 NBA draft. In 1988, he participated in the NBA Slam Dunk Contest where he finished in sixth place. The 1988–89 season, spent with the Spurs, was arguably his most productive, averaging 13.7 points and 8.2 rebounds per game.
