J. Tune Entertainment
J. Tune Entertainment (formerly known as Rainy Entertainment) was a Korean music record label founded in November 2007 by Rain. It was a subsidiary of JYP Entertainment. The label was fully merged into JYP Entertainment in November 2013. History In November 2007, Rain told the Korean media that he has left JYP Entertainment and started his own entertainment company, J. Tune Entertainment (formerly known as Rainy Entertainment). He was scheduled to be CEO of the company, but told the media that he still kept in touch with his mentor and long-time trainer Park Jin-young. In May 2008, Yeon Jung-hoon signed with J.Tune Entertainment after his military discharge. In 2009, J. Tune Entertainment had a female trainee who was claimed by the Korean media to be the female version of Rain. The unknown female was dismissed by the company for unspecified reasons. Yeon Jung-hoon (born November 6, 1978) is a South Korean actor. He is best known for generational epic '' East of Eden'' (2008), crime procedural ''Vampire Prosecutor'' (2011-2012) and the domestically popular weekend drama ''Pots of Gold'' (2013). Madtown
Madtown (), often stylized as MADTOWN, was a South Korean boy band formed in 2014 by J. Tune Camp. The group consisted of Moos, Daewon, Lee Geon, Lee Jong-hwa (actor), Jota, Heo Jun, Buffy and H.O. Their debut album, ''Mad Town (EP), Mad Town'', was released on October 6, 2014. Two of the members, Moos and Buffy, originally debuted as the hip hop duo ''Pro C'' in 2013. ''Allkpop'' (stylized in all lowercase) is an American website which features Korean pop and gossip news. Launched on October 30, 2007, it is based in Edgewater, New Jersey, and is owned and operated by its parent company 6Theory Media. ''Allkpop'' is one of the most trafficked K-pop news sites, with over seven and half million readers per month. In its list of useful websites, ''The Korea Herald'' called it the "fastest news breaker" for K-pop. Despite the praise, some detractors accused the website for inciting racism and xenophobia towards Koreans, and Southeast Asians, by Korean netizens itself, exacerbated by the economic differences between those two regions which is a primary cause of contention.
